Parts and consumables:

  • Coolant
  • Rags

Warning:

Do not open the expansion tank cap while the engine is running or hot, as this will cause the coolant to boil and splash out, which can cause severe burns. Be sure to wait until the engine has cooled before opening the cover. Unscrew the plug slowly, gradually relieving pressure.

1. The coolant level is monitored on the wall of the expansion tank, which is marked with a maximum "MAX" level and a minimum "MIN" level. The level should be between these two marks, closer to the maximum.
