Note:
This article shows how to change the oil in a Chevrolet manual transmission.
Check the oil level in the manual transmission periodically, but at least once every 15,000 kilometers. The design of the manual transmission does not provide for oil changes during the entire life of the vehicle. However, sometimes the need to change the oil may arise, for example, when switching to oil of a different viscosity, when repairing a gearbox, etc.
Chevrolet Cruze GM 75W-85 factory gearbox oil.
There is no drain plug in the car, the oil is changed with the removal of the gearbox pan.
The oil should be drained immediately after the trip, before it has cooled down and has good fluidity.
