- Power steering pump belt (belt marking 4RK-643, four-V, length 643 mm) (55564676)
- Belt of auxiliary units with air conditioning (belt marking 6РК 1555, six-V, 1555 mm long) (55563925)
- Accessory belt without air conditioning (belt marking 6PK, length 1453 mm) (55565302)
- Idler belt accessory drive (if necessary) (55563512)
Note:
This article shows how to replace a Chevrolet accessory belt.
To replace the power steering pump belt, turn on the top gear in the gearbox and push the car back until the holes in the pump pulley align with the pump mounting bolts.
Replacing the accessory drive belts Chevrolet Cruze
1. Through the hole in the pump pulley with the head "13", unscrew the upper bolt of the pump and remove the bolt.

Note:
Similarly, we loosen the tightening of the lower pump mounting bolt and turn the pump towards the engine.
2. Using a flat screwdriver, slide the Chevrolet Cruze accessory belt off the power steering pump pulley and remove it from the engine compartment.

3. Unscrew the four bolts of the engine crankcase protection (bolts are shown by arrows) and remove the protection.

4. Remove the two pistons and remove the three bolts securing the right engine compartment mudguard.
5. Slide the right shield down and remove it.
6. Using the E-18 head, turn the Chevrolet crankshaft clockwise using the pulley mounting screw and assess the condition of the belt.
Note:
The surface of the belt should not have cracks, undercuts and peeling of fabric from the rubber, and the reverse side of the belt should not have wear that exposes the cords and traces of burning. There should be no delamination or loosening on the end surfaces of the belt. If damaged, the belt must be replaced. The belt must also be replaced if traces of oil are found on it (before replacing the belt, the cause of oiling must be eliminated) or when replacing a failed belt tensioner or guide roller.
7. With a twelve-sided head by 19, turn the roller bracket counterclockwise, overcoming the resistance of the tensioner spring, until the holes in the bracket and the tensioner housing match.
8. Insert a 5.5 mm rod (eg drill shank) into the holes.
Lock the Chevrolet Cruze tensioner roller.
9. Remove the belt from the tensioner and all pulleys.
Note:
If the belt is not removed for replacement (for example, when dismantling the generator), before starting work, mark the direction of rotation of the belt.
Mark the direction of the belt.
10. If it is necessary to replace the tensioner roller, unscrew it with the head E-14.
Remove the Chevrolet auxiliary belt tensioner.

11. Installing the Chevrolet accessory belt is in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
We put a new belt on the coolant pump pulley and the power steering pump pulley. To tension the belt with a mounting paddle or a large screwdriver, squeeze the power steering pump from the engine (until the holes for the upper pump mounting bolt are aligned), wrap and tighten the upper and lower pump mounting bolts.
