Replacing the brake light switch Mercedes-Benz Vito W639

• Brake light switch (A 001 545 67 09)

Note:

This article describes how to replace the Mercedes Vito brake light switch.

If the anti-lock braking system (ABS)  sensor and the acceleration control system (wheel) light up on your dashboard , then the brake light switch sensor is out of order.

Brake light switch malfunction sensors

1. The brake light switch sensor is located on the brake pedal.

2. Turn the brake light switch sensor counterclockwise half a turn and remove the sensor.

3. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
