Checking and adjusting headlights Chery Tiggo

1. Pre-check and, if necessary, bring the tire pressure to normal.

2. Position the vehicle perpendicular to a smooth wall (eg in a garage) at a distance of 3 m.

3. Place an additional 75 kg weight on the driver's seat.

4. Place the screen on the wall as shown in the figure below. The longitudinal plane of symmetry of the vehicle should follow line 0 on the screen.

5. Rock the car from the side so that the suspension springs self-align.

6. Measure the height of the center of the headlights from the floor on your car. This will be the distance h on the screen.

7. Set the regulator of the electrocorrector of headlights on the dashboard to the position corresponding to the load of the car with one driver.

8. Turn on the low beam.

9. It is recommended to adjust the direction of the light spot for each headlight on Chery Tiggo separately. Cover the second headlamp with an opaque material during adjustment.

10. Open the hood. Turn the adjusting screws with a screwdriver to adjust the position of the light spot on the screen for each headlight horizontally.

11. Adjust the vertical position of the light spot on the screen for each headlamp if the location of the light spots does not match the illustration.

Note:

For clarity, adjustment is shown on the removed headlight.

12. Headlights on Chery Tiggo are considered adjusted when the upper boundaries of the left parts of the light spots coincide with line 4, and vertical lines 1 and 2 pass through the points E1 and E2 of intersection of the horizontal and inclined sections of the light spots.

13. If the car is equipped with fog lights, then the direction of their light beam must be adjusted only in height. Turn the adjusting screw until the upper boundaries of the light spots are on line 4 or slightly below it.
