I will share my experience in solving problems with the intake manifold.
To be more precise, the fight against errors:
------------------------------------- ---------------
012600 - Intake Manifold Runner Control
P3138 - 000 - Regulation Deviation
----------------------- -----------------------------------
008196 - Intake Manifold Flap; Bank 1
P2004 - 000 - Stuck Open
------------------------------------------- ----------------
008198 - Intake Manifold Flap; Bank 1
P2006 - 000 - Stuck Closed
------------------------------------------ ----------------
There may still be various errors, if the memory does not change, then P2008, P2015.
It all starts with removal and cleaning.
Actually cleaning the intake manifold flaps and valves.
Mileage 100t.
Spare parts: Reinz manifold gasket, does not look different from the original, the old gasket has not lost its elasticity.
Gaskets (repair kit) for injectors.
Throttle gasket left the old one, it has not lost its elasticity, it looks out of the seat, quite alive.
Karbochist 2 cylinders, decarbonization of laurel.
Removing the collector, I removed the oil filter, a potentiometer clung to it, the collector itself unscrews everything that is visible and what clings to it, under the collector in the middle part there is a bracket that is attached to the collector and the block, I unscrewed it from the block, for this you need to remove the throttle (4 bolts), I used a little bit on which I put a 10 key to unscrew the bracket from the block.
The manifold was filmed at the same angle as it was, pulling it towards itself, it can resist a little, the nozzles in the cylinder head with new seals get back very tight.
Then he took out the inserts from the cylinder head, and access to the valves appeared, the valves were very dirty, the soot was soft, cleaned it off with a scalpel, blew it, soaked the laurel with decoking. The valves themselves can be closed only in 3 cylinders, respectively, in one cylinder, after the rest, I soaked it, after soaking, I cleaned / washed everything again and blew it.
The collector, the carbon deposits are viscous / hard, the carbo-cleaner did not take it, he cleaned both the dampers and the collector itself with a scalpel, after washing / purging, and so on several times. There are also jumpers between the dampers, they are removed, there are no latches, they just sit there, it is easy to remove them by prying them with a screwdriver, there was also some amount of dirt there.
The throttle was not dirty, a small coating of oil and that's it.
The nozzles were very dirty, they were washed very hard, I first cleaned off the carbon deposits with a scalpel, then with a toothbrush and a carbo-cleaner.
Cleaned everything up and replaced the gasket.
