The DSG-7 robotic gearbox, which is installed on Skoda Octavia cars,  is maintenance-free . According to the technical documentation,  the oil in the DSG7 robot is filled for the entire period of operation of the Skoda Octavia and does not need to be replaced

Despite the manufacturer's assurances that the gearbox does not need an oil change, in 2013 the Volkswagen concern announced a recall of cars with DSG7 to change the transmission oil. In 7-speed DSGs, mineral oil was changed to synthetic, after which new software was installed on the gearbox.

If the Skoda Octavia has problems with the DSG transmission, it is better to contact the specialists, since checking and changing the oil in the gearbox is not an easy procedure.
