Opel Astra H car keys

   Two keys are applied to the Opel Astra H car, each of which can unlock the front door locks and turn on the ignition.

   The set of car keys includes a working key A with a remote control for locks and an emergency key B , as well as a tag C with the key series number.

   Note:

   Keep the tag so that you do not change the locks if the keys are lost, new keys can be ordered from the factory by their number.

   To prevent damage to clothing, the working key stem is retracted into its body. To bring the key into working position, press the button on its body.

   The key stem will swing forward under the action of the spring. In order to return the key stem to its original position, press the button, turn it by hand until it enters the groove on the body and snaps into place with the lock.

   To lock the locks of all vehicle doors, the trunk lid (on sedan cars) and the fuel tank filler hatch cover, press button B. To unlock the locks, press button A .

   Note:

   Depending on the configuration of the Opel Astra car, the mechanical anti-theft device, the anti-theft alarm and the power windows of all doors can be additionally actuated with the buttons on the key.

   If the battery of the remote control of the working key begins to discharge, then several button presses may be required to control the systems, and the range of the device will also be reduced. In this case, replace the battery as soon as possible.

   To replace the battery in the key, do the following:

   1. Unfasten the cover of the remote control by overcoming the resistance of its lock.

   2. Remove the cover.

   3. Remove the battery from the remote control.

   4. Install a new battery in the reverse order of removal.

   Note:

   When installing the battery, observe the polarity, the positive pole of the battery must be on top.
