Hyundai Creta car keys

   A set of two keys is included with the Hyundai Creta car. They fit the locks in the doors and the ignition lock. Also included is a tag with a number. In the event of a key breakdown or loss, a new one (by number) can be ordered from an authorized dealer.
  The Hyundai key has an electronic chip built into it. The immobilizer sensor reads the code from it and removes the prohibition to start the engine. Depending on the configuration, conventional keys may also be attached:

And also the keys combined with the remote control of the central lock. This remote control has 3 buttons that control the door locks:

1 - key lock button;
2 - door lock button;
3 - button for unlocking door locks;
4 - button for unlocking the trunk lock.

To lock and unlock the door locks, you need to press the corresponding button on the remote control.

Note:
If you disable the Hyundai door locks and do not open the door or turn on the ignition within 30 seconds, be prepared for the burglar alarm to automatically activate.

If the clarity and range of remote control decrease, most likely it will be necessary to change the battery. The remote control uses a CR2032 battery .

   The mechanical key is in the remote control. To remove it, you need to press the release button.

Warning:
Do not allow water to enter the key case as it contains electronic parts.

Do not leave the key in the sun for a long time.

Keep the tagged spare key in a safe place and do not leave it in the vehicle.

Replacing the battery in a Hyundai Creta smart key

1. To change the battery, press the release button.

2. Remove the key.

3. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully, without excessive pressure, separate the cover from the key body.

4. Remove the silicone gasket.

5. Remove the main board.

6. Remove the Hyundai Creta key battery and replace it with a new one.

7. Install it in the housing, observing the polarity: "+" is facing outward towards the cover. 

8.  Assemble all parts of the Hyundai Creta smart key in reverse order. The lid should snap on tightly.

9. Check the operation of the key by pressing the buttons on the key fob.
