Hyundai has drainage holes at the bottom of doors and sills. They are designed to drain water from the cavities of the car.
Water passes inside the doors through the gap between the seal and the side glass. Over time, drain holes can become clogged with dirt and debris. Contamination prevents water from draining and can lead to intense corrosion of the bottom of the doors, so the drainage holes must be cleaned regularly.

Clean the drain holes before washing the vehicle. Clean  carefully to avoid damaging the body paintwork.

1. Open the front and rear doors.

2. Take a flat-blade screwdriver, a piece of hard wire (1-3 mm) or other tool and clean the drain holes in the front doors.

3. In the rear doors.

4. In the rapids of the car.

5.  Clean the drainage holes in the trunk lid.
