Parts and consumables:
- Fuel gauge sensor
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the fuel module as described here .

3. Disconnect two blocks of wires of the gauge of level of fuel from sockets of a cover of the fuel module.

4. Wring out a plastic clamp located under the gauge of level of fuel.

5. Move the sensor in the direction of the arrow.

6. Remove it from the fuel module housing.

7. To test the fuel gauge sensor, connect a tester in ohmmeter mode to its terminals.

Tester
8. Measure the resistance of the sensor with the float lever in the lower position. The resistance should be approximately 44.7 ohms.
9. Raise the lever with the float to its extreme position - the resistance should drop to 6.5 ohms. If the sensor resistance does not match the values given, the sensor is defective and must be replaced.
10. Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of removal.
