Checking the PCV valve

In the crankcase ventilation system, the PCV valve occupies an important place. Through it, crankcase gases are discharged back into the intake manifold, from where they enter the combustion chambers and are burned out during the normal operation of the engine.
I read a lot about the planting of the valve, or about its jamming, so I decided to check it.
The principle of operation is simple:

Roughly speaking, if the valve is removed, then it should be well blown in one direction and not in the other. For me, it blew in both directions quite easily. I wanted to clean it, but it turned out to be quite normal. In the end, I took it apart.

As you can see, there is no pollution inside and nothing is jammed. It is not clear why he began to blow in both directions. Either the passage hole inside has increased over time, or the spring has weakened. In general, I didn’t get smart with it, and ordered a new one.
