Notes:

Periodically (but at least once every 15,000 km) check the oil level in the manual transmission, and change the oil every 90,000 km or 6 years (whichever comes first). However, sometimes the need to change the oil may arise earlier: for example, when switching to a different viscosity of oil, when repairing a gearbox, etc.

Fill the manual transmission with API GL4/GL5 oil; SAE 75W-90. If the car is operated at an ambient temperature below -10 ° C, we recommend using oil of API GL4 / GL5 quality class; SAE 80W-90.

Helpful Hint:

It is recommended to drain the oil within 15 minutes after the trip, until it has cooled down and has good fluidity.

To check the oil level in a manual transmission, do the following:

1. Turn out a plug of a control (filling) aperture located on a case of a transmission in front in a direction of the movement.

2. Check the oil level in the gearbox. The oil level should be at the edge of the hole or slightly lower.

3. If the oil level is very low (cannot be controlled), fill the oil with a syringe into the hole up to the lower edge of the control hole. Wrap the plug of the control hole and remove oil leaks with a rag.

To top up or change the oil in the gearbox, do the following:

1. Turn out the plug of the control (filler) hole, then the drain plug and drain the oil into a previously prepared container.

2. The drain plug is sealed with an aluminum washer, be sure to replace it.

3. Screw in the drain plug and tighten it to 25 N•m.

4. Fill the gearbox with oil up to the lip of the filler hole.

5. Screw in the plug of the control (filler) hole, tighten to 2 N•m and remove oil smudges with a rag.
