Parts and consumables:
- Coolant
- Funnel (if needed)
Notes:
To check the fluid level, we install the car on a flat horizontal platform. We carry out the check on a cold engine.
The coolant consists of water and a coolant additive. Only suitable additives must be used, otherwise engine damage may result. Additives are harmful to health. Not all sold additives are suitable for a car. Find out about suitable additives at the service center.
The filler neck of the coolant reservoir is located at the rear of the engine compartment, to the left in the direction of travel of the vehicle.

WARNING:
Do not open the cooling system when the engine is hot, otherwise you may be burned by escaping coolant.
1. To add coolant, open the hood.
2. Turn the coolant reservoir cap counterclockwise until excess pressure is released, after which you can remove the cap.
Note:
The coolant level is correct if it is between the minimum and maximum marks in the filler neck.
Coolant level marks.
3. If the coolant level is below the belt in the neck, then add coolant.
4. Tighten the plug until a distinct click is heard. The arrows on the coolant reservoir and cap must point towards each other.
USEFUL TIPS:
It is convenient to use a funnel to facilitate topping up the liquid. In the absence of a funnel for adding liquid, you can make a funnel from the neck of a plastic bottle.
If the coolant level in the expansion tank is constantly decreasing, then there is most likely a leak in the cooling system. In this case, it is necessary to check the tightness of the cooling system, and eliminate the malfunction.
