Notes:
The fluid level in an automatic transmission is measured with the engine and transmission warmed up. To warm up the power unit to the required temperature, you can make a short (15 kilometers) trip.
1 . Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the handbrake securely. Place jack stands under the wheels to secure the vehicle.
Screw jack.
2 . Start the engine and let it run at idle. Depress the brake pedal and carefully move the selector from position P to position 1, then back to P.
3 . Remove the filler plug ( arrow ).
4 . Check the oil level. The oil level should reach the lower edge of the filler hole.
5 . Tighten the filler plug to 30Nm with a new O-ring.
6 . Unscrew the filler plug on the left side of the gearbox.
7 . Check the oil level. The oil level corresponds to the required value if it does not reach 8.5 mm from the filler hole.
8 . Tighten the filler plug ( 1 ) to 20Nm.
Note:
There may be a sticker on the back of the hood with markings and the date of oil change. Enter new data on the sticker or make a new one.
If the oil level is too low, check the gearbox for leaks and repair if necessary (service station operation). It is not enough just to fill the gearbox with oil. It is necessary to monitor its correct level! Under no circumstances should you add too much oil.
9 . Install the bottom cover of the engine compartment.
10 . Lower the car onto its wheels.
