Hyundai Creta engine oil level check

Note:
During the operation of the motor, a small oil consumption is allowed. The more often you check its level, the sooner you will be able to notice an increase in consumption and promptly eliminate the malfunction.
It is advisable to check the level before each trip or at least once a week. In extreme cases, at least every 1000 km. run.
The check is carried out only on a non-working engine, not less than 10 minutes after it has stopped.

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2. Raise the hood cover and inspect the engine compartment. Remove the oil level indicator from the Hyundai Creta cylinder block.

3. Wipe the dipstick with a clean rag and insert it back into the hole until it stops.

4. Remove the pointer again. The Hyundai engine oil level should be between the F  (full) and L  (low) marks:

5. If the level is near the minimum mark or below, unscrew the oil filler cap.

6. Add oil to the Hyundai Creta engine through a funnel. Pour in small portions and control its level according to the pointer. Before the final check, it is necessary to wait at least 10 minutes so that all the oil has time to drain.

Note:
Do not top up above the allowable level and do not allow it to fall to the minimum. This could damage the engine. 

Hyundai oil must be of the same brand, quality class and viscosity that was previously filled in.

7. If the level is correct, tighten the oil filler cap tightly. Wipe up spilled liquid with a rag.
