  • You will need: screwdrivers with a flat and cross-shaped blade, pliers, a “10” key, a “12” socket head.
  • 1. To adjust the automatic transmission control cable, place the transmission control lever in the "N" position.
  • 2. Remove the battery and its mounting shelf.
  • 3. Loosen the nut securing the cable end to the range selector lever on the transmission control unit.
  • 4. Adjust the position of the end of the cable so that the end is in the middle position without tension and bends.
  • 5. Tighten the cable end nut.
  • 6. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
  • 7. Check up clearness of inclusion of modes of a transmission in all provisions of the lever of management of a transmission. Re-adjust if necessary.
  • 8. To replace the automatic transmission control cable, unscrew the nut securing the cable tip to the gearbox control unit lever.
  • 9. Pry off the bent edge of the spring retainer of the tip of the cable sheath ...
  • 10. ... and remove the retainer from the slot in the tip.
  • 11. Disconnect a tip from the lever and take out a tip from a bracket groove on a transmission.
  • 12. Remove the front seats (see "Removing and installing the front seat").
  • NOTE
  • With sufficient experience, it is possible to replace the automatic transmission control cable without removing the front seats.
  • 13. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel (see "Removing and installing the lining of the floor tunnel").
  • 14. Remove the cable end pin from the hole in the control lever.
  • 15. Disconnect the tip of the cable from the control lever.
  • 16. Press the latch ...
  • 17. ... and remove the cable from the hole in the body of the wings of the control lever.
  • 18. Under the instrument panel, unscrew the two nuts securing the cable bracket to the bulkhead and remove the cable into the passenger compartment, removing its tip through the hole in the bulkhead.
  • 19. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
