All week and only thought about how to change the rack. I really wanted to do it on Friday after work (the benefit of a sunny day now allows it) But, given the previous experience of repairing my cars, I decided to postpone it until Saturday. Because for anyone, some kind of joint will happen, and you will have to go to the store for something like a key, or a head, or something else. Theoretically, I knew how the racks change, but I read the Internet anyway, and found out that people manage to shake up 2 sides almost within 2 hours with smoke breaks.

Started!

The bones of the rear stabilizer turned sour, and I decided not to unscrew them. I'm the smartest! I will tighten the spring, unscrew the bolts, and it's in the bag! But to remove the rack, you need to move the lever down. What do you think? Did I make it? Go ahead...

Loosen the bottom bolt of the caliper mounting bolt. Only then was he able to pull the lever down. He inserted a hairpin, and pressed on it with his foot.

Next, unscrew the nut from the stem. I don't have a key for 5, but I have a vise. The nut sits tight ... Wouldn't break anything.

I go for the grinder, I pull the extension cord and finally, the nut is unscrewed!

I did the second side as expected - unscrewed the bones. I had to specifically use a brush for metal, for cleaning threads and a drive. Everything was unscrewed, but I did everything very carefully so as not to break the hexagon in the bone, and I took a 14 spanner wrench from a neighbor. I would have torn off the nut with Rozhkov for sure.
After removing the old racks, they were dry and worked in compression and tension as they should. I began to think that I had wasted my money, but after I rode the new shock absorbers, I realized that it was not in vain that I had been sitting on the courts for about 5 hours.
