I decided to make noise isolation of the wheel arches. Before the trip, I bought material and drove it. Comfort - 1 sheet 2 kg, gold - 1.8. And anti-noise mastic and that: -
STP Gold - 6 sheets
- Anti-noise mastic - 2 cans -
White spirit - 1l

One sheet is enough for one arch, except for the rear left, it is the largest, since it is on the right tank. The most difficult thing was to wash and degrease the arches, the rest is easier. I did it slowly, one arch - one day, because I did everything reliably. So we raise the car, remove the fender liner, wash the whole thing. Then wipe the dirt with white spirit and degrease it. Mode and paste STP. Then we apply the mask. After 1-1.5 hours, we apply the second layer, after another hour we put on the wheel and leave it overnight. In the morning we put the fender liner back on. We repeat the procedure 4 times. I decided to put it on the fender liner, but since they are made of pile, the material does not stick to them, although I washed them for a very long time. As a result, he left small squares in the recesses in front, and then peeled off the large ones.
