The glove compartment (ware box) is located on the passenger side.

1. Move the passenger seat as far back as possible.
2. Under the glove compartment, unscrew the two lower bolts of its fastening.

3. Use a flat screwdriver to pry and remove the side panel of the glove compartment (wrap a rag or tape around the flat screwdriver so as not to scratch the plastic).
Note:
It is better to pry not near the glove compartment, but from the side of the door seal.
4. Open the glove box and unscrew the top three glove box fasteners.

5. Gently slide the glove box back (drown it into the instrument panel) and lower the glove box to the floor.
6. Disconnect the glove box wiring harness.
7. Similarly, disconnect another pair of pads from the glove box.
8. Install the Audi A6 glove compartment and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
