To replace the resistor when it fails, you must first disconnect the wire terminal from the "minus" of the battery. Further, for clarity, the operations are shown with the instrument panel removed.
Squeezing the two latches of the wire block, disconnect the block from the additional resistor.
Using the Torx T-20 key, we unscrew the self-tapping screw for fastening the resistor.
Sliding the resistor up, remove it from the heater housing. The additional heater fan resistor is installed in the reverse order.
