Removing an additional brake light on Renault Megane 3
1. Raise the trunk lid.
2. Next, we need to remove the plastic trim (panel) on the fifth door. It comes off pretty easily. You need to grab it and pull it towards you. It is held on by three latches.
3. Now we see three holes in which the Renault Megane brake light mounts are located. It is also fastened on three metal latches: two along the edges and one in the middle.
They will need to be snapped off with any flat screwdriver. It is enough to press the latch a little and lift it up a little so that the brake light snaps off.
4. Close the trunk and see that now there is a gap.
5. Tilt the brake light down and pull it towards you.
6. Here we have a light connection wire and a washer hose.
7. If it is necessary to completely remove the Renault Megan 3 brake light, disconnect the block and hose.
8. The brake light is removed, as a rule, in order to eliminate its fogging. This is a fairly common car problem. The seal around the edges becomes unusable and moisture begins to get there.
This problem can be solved by gluing the door seal on an adhesive basis. Basically, the problem is fixed. The flashlight doesn't sweat.
9. Optional brake light back also snaps into place. First we insert its top, and then we snap the bottom part.
Note:
The original number of the additional brake light for Renault Megan 3 is 265900026R.
