Removing and cleaning throttle Renault Logan 2004-2009 Gasoline

1. Unscrew the 4 screws holding the air filter housing.
2. Slightly raise the air filter housing and see a short rubber tube connecting the housing to the engine, disconnect one end of the tube (either end is possible)
3. Move (slightly turning) the air filter housing to the side.
4. Disconnect the plastic rod from the throttle and the cable. Just gently pull to the side with your hands.
5. Disconnect the TPS connector (on top of the throttle assembly) and the IAC connector (slightly lower and, as it were, behind the throttle)
6. At the very bottom of the throttle assembly, unscrew the bracket fastening screw. It is one, although there are holes in the throttle itself for two screws. This is normal, everyone has it (apparently Renault's economy) Some of these screws do not even exist at all.
7. Remove the throttle assembly.
8. Abundantly clean the entire assembly (inside and damper) with a carburetor cleaner. I used Abro spray.
9. Remove the idle speed regulator. By unscrewing the 2 screws securing it.
10. We also clean it and the channel where it is inserted.

He also sees a bypass channel for air supply into which the IAC is inserted.

11. We collect everything in the reverse order.

In principle, if everything works fine, then you don’t have to clean the throttle, because for many it works for a long time and they never even looked there. But still it is better to carry out its prevention from time to time, in order to avoid possible problems.
