The procedure for removing and installing the radio on the Mazda 6
1. Starting from the side of the glove compartment, pry off the silver trim with a screwdriver or plastic spatula (snap off the fastening clips).
2. Disconnect the wire from the panel in the area of the air ducts that feeds the alarm button.
3. Starting from the bottom, pry the frame of the radio with a spatula (fastened with plastic clips). Pull it towards you to remove the frame.
4. Remove 2 screws on both sides of the radio.
5. Remove the radio on the Mazda 6 by pulling it towards you. Disconnect all connectors from the radio.
6. Install the radio on the Mazda 6 in the reverse order of removal.
