Tools:
- Torx wrench (star) T45
- Hex Key 5
- Curved round nose pliers
Note:
The oil pump is removed for replacement when its supply decreases, causing a constant drop in oil pressure in the engine lubrication system, as well as when oil leaks through the sealing surfaces of the pump housing and cylinder block.
1. Remove the oil pan.
2. Remove the oil pump sprocket guard.
3. Remove the oil pump drive chain tensioner spring.
4. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a tensioner to the block of cylinders.
5. Remove tensioner.
6. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the oil pump, keeping an asterisk from turning, and remove it.
7. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the oil pump and remove the pump.
8. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
9. Fill the engine with oil.
