Removing and installing front bumper Hyundai Santa Fe CM 2006-2012

Tools:

• Screwdriver flat medium
• Phillips screwdriver, medium
• Ratchet wrench
• Head 10 mm
• Head 12 mm
• Head 13 mm

Parts and consumables:

• Front bumper (if required) (86511-2B020)

Note:

This article shows how to remove the Santa Fe bumper yourself.

Removal and installation of the front bumper Hyundai Santa Fe

1. Turn off a bolt of fastening of a forward bumper in a wheel arch.

2. Unscrew two fasteners of the engine mudguard (one fastener on the left and right mudguards is not visible, but their approximate location is shown by the arrow).

3.  Remove engine protection as described in this article .

4. Turn off three screws of the bottom fastening of a bumper of Hyundai Santa Fe.

5. Open the hood, unscrew the two front bumper nuts ( B ) and the six front bumper retainers ( A ).

6. Pull the Hyundai Santa Fe bumper side towards you (three latches) to disengage the bumper side from the retainers.

7. Similarly disconnect a bumper from clamps under a headlight.

8. Take the front bumper away from the front of the car, disconnect the wire blocks from the fog lights and finally remove the bumper.

9. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
