1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery. How to do it, see here.
2. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
3. Using the TORX T25 wrench, turn out the left and right 3 screws securing the wheel arch liners to the front bumper of the Skoda Octavia.
Note:
The front wheel liner consists of two parts: the front, screwed to the front bumper and engine mudguard, and the rear, screwed to the front bumper and front fender.
4. With a TORX T25 wrench, turn out the 2 screws on the lower fastening of the bumper to the fender liner on the left and right.
5. Turn out screws of three caps of the lower fastening of a forward bumper of Skoda Octavia to the amplifier. Pry with a screwdriver and remove the caps. You need a TORX T30 wrench.
6. Using the TORX T30 wrench, remove the 3 screws securing the bumper to its amplifier.
7. Pry off the spacer pins with a flat screwdriver and remove two pistons on the left and on the right for attaching the bumper to the amplifier.
8. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the fog lamp connectors and remove the Skoda Octavia front bumper.
9. Install the front bumper and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
