Removing and installing the front seat Nissan Qashqai

You will need: TORX T50 wrench, side cutters or pliers with thin jaws.

NOTE.
The work is shown for the left seat, the right seat is removed in the same way.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
2. Move the seat all the way forward.

3. Turn out two bolts of back fastenings of basic arms of directing a sled of a seat to the basis of a body.

4. Move the seat all the way back and unscrew the two bolts of the front fastenings of the support brackets of the seat guide slides to the base of the body.

NOTE.

Under the seat there are pads for the wiring harnesses of the side airbag 1, the sensor 2 for the presence of the driver in the seat, the signaling device 3 for the unfastened seat belt and the electric heating system 4 for the front seat.

5. Raise the seat and, pressing the latches, disconnect the pads of the wiring harnesses of the front seat electric heating system ...

6. ... seat belt sensor ...

7. ... sensor for the presence of the driver on the seat ...

8. ... and side airbags.

9. Squeeze the clamps of the harness holder with side cutters or pliers with thin sponges ...

10. ... and disconnect the harness from the seat base.

11. Remove the seat from the car.
12. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal. Apply an anaerobic threadlocker to the seat bolts before installation.
