Removing the front bumper Hyundai Creta

Note:

The front bumper consists of a plastic decorative trim and reinforcement. In most cases, only the lining breaks from a slight blow. And it can be replaced separately. 

It is advisable to have an assistant to remove the bumper  .

Removing the front bumper Hyundai Creta

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2.  Raise the hood cover and fix it with the stop.

3. Using a 10 mm socket head,   remove the 4 radiator grille mounting bolts.

4. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry and remove the 5 bumper lower mounting brackets. 

5. In the wheel arches, prying with a screwdriver, pull out 3 pistons each securing the fender liner to the bumper of the Hyundai Crete.

6. Using a 10 mm  socket head,  unscrew the bumper-to-wing bolt on both sides.

7. Take away forward fender liner.

8. Press the latches and disconnect the pads from the fog lights or DRL.

9. Together with an assistant, on both sides, remove the bumper sidewalls from the latches.

10. Remove the front bumper from the Hyundai Creta. Lay it on a soft material so as not to scratch it.

11. If necessary, replace with a new one.

Removing bumper booster Hyundai Creta

1. Use a 10 mm socket to unscrew the 2 bolts of the lower mounting of the amplifier.

2. Using a 10 mm socket, remove the 2 bolts and top nut.

3. In the same way, unscrew the bolts and fastening nut from the opposite side.

4. Remove the Hyundai Creta front bumper reinforcement and inspect its condition.

5. If necessary, replace with a new one.

6. Install the bumper reinforcement in reverse order.

7. Install the Hyundai Creta front bumper in reverse order.
