Note:
The left and right seats are removed in the same way.
Before removing the front seat on the Nissan X-Trail, it is advisable to disconnect the negative terminal wire from the battery with a 10 mm wrench.
How to remove the front seat Nissan X-Trail
1. Move the front seat all the way forward.
2. Using a Torx T50 wrench, remove the 2 rear bolts securing the seat rail support brackets to the body base.
3. Move the front seat of the Nissan X-Trail all the way back.
4. Using a Torx T50 wrench, remove the 2 front bolts securing the seat slide to the body base.
5. Tilt the front seat back. This will open access to the wiring harness pads.
6. Squeeze the latches and disconnect the side airbag, electric heating and seat belt warning signal pads.
7. Remove the Nissan X-Trail front seat and pull it out of the car.
8. Apply anaerobic threadlocker to the seat mounting bolts and install the seat in the reverse order of removal.
