- O-ring for fuel pump module housing
- Fuel module cup valve
- Fuel filter
- Fuel drain tank
1. Reduce the pressure in the supply system.
2. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion and fuel module hatch cover. Disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness and high pressure hose as described in paragraphs 19-25 of the article " Removing and installing the fuel tank ".
4. Loosen the pressure ring on the fuel pump module to the fuel tank by turning the ring counterclockwise.
5. Turn away a ring from a mouth of a fuel tank.
6. Remembering the location of the fuel pump module relative to the fuel tank (to facilitate its installation during subsequent installation), lift the fuel module above the fuel tank.
7. Remove the O-ring.
8. Partially remove the fuel module from the fuel tank.
9. While pressing the clamp of the wiring harness block, disconnect the block from the module.
10. Remove the fuel module from the fuel tank.
11. Squeeze the fuel transfer hose clamp.
12. Disconnect the fuel transfer hose from the fuel module fitting.
13. Remove the fuel module and completely drain the fuel from it into a previously prepared container.
14. Squeezing the clamps, disconnect the wire blocks from the connectors of the fuel module cover.
15. Wring out a screw-driver a plastic clamp located under the gauge of level of fuel.
16. Move the sensor in the direction of the arrow.
17. Remove the sensor from the fuel module housing.
18. Pry off the spring retainer of the fuel pressure regulator with a screwdriver.
19. Then take it out.
20. Remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel module cup.

21. Use a screwdriver to pry out the three retainers of the fuel module cup.
22. Disconnect the bowl from the body.
23. Pry off the fuel filter with a screwdriver.
24. Then remove it.
25. Wash or replace the filter if it is heavily soiled.
26. Wring out plastic clamps.
27. Disconnect the fuel module cover.
28. Remove the fuel pump from the module housing.
29. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pump module housing and replace it.
30. Check the functionality of the cup valve. It should let fluid in and hold it in the fuel pump module cup. Replace defective valve or bowl assembly.
31. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
