We remove the steering wheel to replace it, as well as when dismantling the steering column switch connector, steering column or instrument panel.
We set the front wheels of the car to the position of rectilinear movement. Remove the driver's airbag.

With a Torx T-50 wrench, we unscrew the steering wheel mounting screw a few turns.
We do not turn off the screw to the end, so that when removing the steering wheel, we do not get injured.

Shaking, we pull the steering wheel towards ourselves and shift it along the splines of the shaft.

Completely unscrew the steering wheel screw.

We pass the spiral airbag cable through the hole in the steering wheel hub ...

... and remove the steering wheel from the shaft.

Install the steering wheel in reverse order.
The steering wheel is mounted on the steering column shaft in only one position. To do this, it is necessary to combine the wide protrusion on the splined tip of the steering column shaft with the wide groove 1 of the hole in the steering wheel hub.

In this case, two narrow grooves 2 will be aligned with the corresponding protrusions of the tip of the steering column shaft.
