Tools:
- Puller
1. Remove the camshaft position sensor .
2. Set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC of the compression stroke.
3. To remove the crankshaft pulley, turn it and align the mark with the "0" mark on the timing chain cover. Make sure the marks on the sprockets line up with the marks on the #1 and #2 camshaft bearing caps as shown.
Combination of markings with marks on the camshaft bearing caps:
1 - marks on the covers;
2 - marking "0".
4. Remove the pulley bolt with the special tool, then remove the crankshaft pulley with a puller .
Removing the crankshaft pulley:
1 - puller.
