Removing the exhaust system Renault Sandero 1.6 (16V)

In the event of a burnout of one of the mufflers, failure of the catalytic converter or their large mechanical damage, the entire assembly is replaced.
Separate elements of the exhaust system are also supplied as spare parts. To replace them, it is necessary to cut out the damaged element and replace it with a new one.
We carry out work on a viewing ditch or overpass. 

Warning:  To avoid burns, it is recommended to start work after the exhaust system has cooled down. 

To remove the details of the exhaust system from the space between the body and the rear suspension beam, hang the rear of the car.
We remove in turn two rubber cushions of the suspension system of the exhaust system from the body brackets or brackets of the exhaust system. 

We disconnect the block of wires of the diagnostic oxygen concentration sensor from the block of the wiring harness of the engine management system. 

With a high “14” head with an extension and a universal joint, we unscrew the two nuts securing the intake pipe flange to the exhaust manifold flange. 

The location of the nuts for fastening the flanges of the exhaust pipe and the exhaust manifold. 

We remove the springs from the studs (in this case, the nut turned off along with the stud). 

We remove the exhaust pipe flange from the exhaust manifold flange ... 

... and remove the sealing spherical ring from the exhaust manifold flange. 

If the ring is cracked and the sealing spherical surface is damaged, replace the ring with a new one.
We move the exhaust system back and skipping the details of the exhaust system between the rear suspension beam and the bottom of the body ... 

... remove the exhaust system. 

Install the exhaust system in reverse order.
If, when disconnecting the flanges of the intake pipe and the exhaust manifold, the nuts are unscrewed together with the studs, then before installing the exhaust system, we screw the studs into their original places.
