Removing the Hyundai Creta wiper trapezoid

Note:
The need to replace the wiper trapezoid is determined during the inspection of the technical condition of the wiper.

Removing the windshield wiper trapezoid Hyundai Creta

1.  Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.

2. Use a thin flathead screwdriver to pry and remove the arm nut cover.

3. Using a 14 mm   socket,  unscrew the nut of its fastening.

4.  Remove the Hyundai Creta front wiper arm from the shaft. 

Note:
If necessary, you can use a special puller or sliding pliers.

5.  Remove the second lever in the same way.

6. Disconnect the washer hose from the tube.

7. Disconnect the block of wires from the heating of the injectors (if not available).

8. Press the latches and remove the 5 grid holders (jabot).

9. Disconnect seals.

10. Pull and remove the frill.

11. Press the latch and disconnect the block of wires from the trapezoid motor.

12. Use a socket head or 10 mm wrench to unscrew the 2 mounting bolts.

13. Remove the Hyundai Creta trapezoid together with the wiper motor.

14. Examine her condition. If necessary, replace the front wiper trapezoid with a new one.

15. If the trapezoid on the Hyundai Creta was removed only to replace the gearmotor, disconnect the tip of the right thrust from the wiper crank. 

16. Remove the left link from the crank.

17. Use a socket head or a 10 mm wrench to unscrew the 2 mounting bolts.

18. Remove the wiper motor.

19. If necessary, replace the Hyundai Creta wiper motor with a working one.

20. Reinstall the gearmotor in the reverse order of removal.

21. Install the Hyundai wiper trapezoid in place. Bolt tightening torque — 7-10 N•m.

22. Install the ventilation grille (jabot) in place. For reliable fixing, press it against the windshield seal. Secure with holders.

23. Before installing the levers, clean the trapezoid shafts from dirt and rust. 

24. To install the shafts in the lowest position of the levers, turn on the wiper for one cycle of operation. 

25. Establish levers of brushes of a screen wiper in an order, the return to removal. 

The moment of an inhaling of a nut of fastening of the lever —  23-26 Н•м.
