Tools:
- Nozzle on the crank 10 mm
- Collar for end nozzle
- Screwdriver flat medium
- Open-end wrench 10 mm
Notes:
We remove the fan to replace the electric motor, impeller or electronic impeller speed controller, as well as in case of replacing the cooling system radiator. It is possible to remove the fan shroud from the vehicle without removing the radiator.
We carry out work on a flyover or a viewing ditch.
Removing the radiator fan Ford Focus 2
1. Disconnect the wire terminal from the "negative" terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect from the electronic regulator the block of wires located under the air duct of the intake system.

3. Using the “10” head, loosen the four bolts securing the lower cross member of the radiator to the body (for details on where these bolts are located, see "Removing and installing the radiator of the cooling system" ).

4. With a finger or a screwdriver, we press the latches of the lower fasteners of the fan shroud to the radiator of the cooling system and move the fan shroud up so that the upper and lower fasteners of the shroud disengage from the latches on the radiator (the top fastener is shown in the assembled state).

5. We finally unscrew the bolts securing the lower cross member of the radiator so that the radiator of the cooling system hangs on the hoses suitable for it and, moving the radiator away from the engine, remove the fan casing assembly with the fan and the electronic regulator down.

6. After replacing the damaged parts, we assemble the assembly and install it on the car in the reverse order.
