Notes:
To avoid discharging the battery when the engine is off, do not leave the Toyota Yaris 2 headlights on for a long period of time.
Turning on the dimensions, headlights of the illumination of the instrument cluster and license plate
The Toyota Yaris 2 headlight and turn signal switch works regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.
1. When the switch knob is turned to the first click (ON1 position), the dimensions, the illumination of the instrument cluster and the license plate are switched on.
2. When the switch knob is turned to the second click (ON2 position), the low beam of the Toyota Yaris 2 headlights turns on.
Note:
If the headlight and turn signal switch is in the "ON1" or "ON2" position when the ignition key is in the "OFF" position and the driver's door is open, a "buzzer" will sound to warn you to turn off the headlights .
To turn on the high beam headlights , the light switch must be turned to the "ON2" position (dipped beam must be on).
Push the switch away from you. The operation of high beam headlights is accompanied by the illumination of the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster.
To turn off the high beam headlights and turn on the low beam headlights, move the switch to its original position (towards you).
To switch on the high beam headlights for a short time (high beam signalling), pull the switch towards you as far as it will go, then release it.
Move the switch up or down to turn on the turn signal . The switch will automatically return to its original position after the turn is completed. However, when changing lanes, you may need to return the switch to neutral by hand.
To turn on the lane change signal, move the switch up or down until resistance is encountered and set to that position.
Attention:
If the indicator lights on the instrument cluster flash faster than usual, it means that the high or near indicator lamp is burned out.
The front fog lights can only be turned on when the headlights or dipped/high beams are working. Turning on the front fog lamps is carried out by turning the rim of the switch knob to position 1. In this case, the corresponding indicator lights up on the instrument cluster).
The rear fog lights can only be turned on when the headlights or high/low beam are working. Turning on the rear fog lights is carried out by moving the rim on the switch handle up (the corresponding indicator on the instrument cluster is lit).
To turn off the fog lamps, move the internal circular switch on the lever to the "OFF" position.
The alarm system can be included at any position of a key in the ignition lock. To turn on the alarm, press the switch located as shown in the figure.
Note:
Use this switch when you have to stop on the road and in case of an accident.
