The Toyota Yaris 2 headlight and turn signal switch works regardless of the position of the key in the ignition switch.

1. When the switch knob is turned to the first click (ON1 position), the dimensions, the illumination of the instrument cluster and the license plate are switched on.

2. When the switch knob is turned to the second click (ON2 position), the low beam of the Toyota Yaris 2 headlights turns on.

To turn on the high beam headlights  , the light switch must be turned to the "ON2" position (dipped beam must be on).
