Replacing the battery in the Ford Focus 3 key

This article shows you how to change the battery in a key with an engine start button. 

Replacing the battery of a Ford Focus 3 key

1. First of all, press the buttons on the side faces of the case.

2. We pry off the cover with the emblem.

3. We remove to the side.

4. We remove the sting of the key.

5. We take a narrow screwdriver or some tool. We start in the groove and take it up. This will open the lid in one place.

6. We remove the cover from all the latches.

7. We disassemble the keychain in half.

8. Further options are possible: he can figure it out so that the battery and the board will be immediately visible.

Or, removing the cover, we will see another one, plastic. 

9. Then you can catch on the ledges, lift it up a little and remove it from the latches. This will give you access to the battery.

10. We hook and remove the battery.

11. Replace with a new one. Battery in key Ford Focus 3 - CR 2032.

12. Install it in place.

Note:

The polarity of the battery is indicated on the bottom of the key fob (drawn +). Actually, we set the new + to +.  

13. We assemble the keychain in the reverse order: we snap the covers, install the sting and the emblem.
