Note:
An additional brake light (brake light) on the Nissan X-Trail is located in the door of its luggage compartment.
The lamp has LEDs. If one of them fails, the lamp is replaced as an assembly.
To gain access to the lamp mounting bolts, you will first need to remove the tailgate trim trim.
Replacing the lantern of the additional brake light Nissan X-Trail
1. Place the car on a level surface, and turn off the ignition.
2. Raise the luggage compartment lid.
3. Pull towards you and remove the upper trim element from the latches.
4. Remove it.

5 . Using an 8 mm socket wrench, unscrew the 2 bolts of the right and left fastening of the Nissan X-Trail brake light.

6. Disconnect the lamp from the door panel.
7. Press a clamp and disconnect a block of wires from a lantern.
Note:
If necessary, trim the gasket with a knife.
8. Clean the surface of the tailgate from the remnants of the old gasket and degrease it.
9. Apply a new gasket or coat with sealant.
10. Replace the Nissan X-Trail brake light with a new one.
11. Establish a lantern into place in an order, the return to removal.
