Note:
Brake line nuts are usually very tight. When you try to unscrew them with a regular key, the edges of the nuts are crushed. Therefore, we recommend using special wrenches for brake pipes.
Special wrenches for brake lines
1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.
2. Remove the decorative engine cover as described here .
3. Remove the reservoir cap and pump out the brake fluid from the reservoir with a large medical syringe. Then screw on the brake master cylinder reservoir cap to keep debris out.
4. For the convenience of performing work, remove the air supply sleeve.
5. Press the retainer of the brake fluid level sensor wiring harness block.
6. Disconnect the block from the sensor.
7. Turn away a nut of fastening of the pipeline to the main brake cylinder.
8. Move the pipeline aside.
9. Similarly turn away a nut of fastening of the second pipeline and take away it from the main brake cylinder.
Note:
Nuts of fastening of pipelines are located on different sides of the main brake cylinder.
Useful advice:
Plug the pipes in any way possible (for example, by putting protective caps on the ends of the valves to release air) to prevent leakage of brake fluid.
10. Disconnect from a branch pipe of a tank a hose of a hydrodrive of deenergizing of coupling.
11. Turn away a plastic nut of fastening of a noise isolation.
12. Remove the nut.
13. Bend the edge of the noise insulation to the side.
14. Turn away two nuts of fastening of the main brake cylinder to the vacuum amplifier.
15. Remove the main brake cylinder in gathering with a tank.
16. If there is no reservoir on the new master brake cylinder or if it becomes necessary to replace the reservoir rubber connecting sleeves, remove the reservoir from the old cylinder and install it on the new brake cylinder.
17. Pry off the O-ring.
18. Remove it from the main brake cylinder housing.
Warning:
Replace the sealing ring of the master brake cylinder with a new one each time the connection is disassembled.
19. Establish the main brake cylinder and all removed details in an order, the return to removal. Top up the brake fluid and bleed the air from the system.
