Replacing the master cylinder of the hydraulic clutch release Nissan Qashqai 2007 - 2013

Tools:

• Screwdriver flat medium
• Syringe for pumping out brake fluid

Parts and consumables:

• Clutch release master cylinder
• Container for draining brake fluid
• Brake fluid

Note:

Remove the clutch release master cylinder for replacement if there is fluid leakage, incomplete disengagement (may be caused by fluid leakage or wear of the sealing collar), or incomplete engagement of the clutch.

1. Remove the air filter housing.

2. Pump out a brake liquid from a tank of the main brake cylinder.

3. Disconnect a feeding hose from a branch pipe of the main cylinder of a drive of deenergizing of coupling.

4. Pry off the spring retainer of the tip of the hydraulic clutch release tube with a screwdriver.

5. Remove the hydraulic tube spring retainer.

6. Disconnect a tip of a tube from a branch pipe of the main cylinder of deenergizing of coupling.

7. In the passenger compartment under the instrument panel, pry off the tip of the clutch master cylinder rod with a screwdriver.

8. Disconnect the rod tip from the pedal arm.

9. Lightly press on the clutch master cylinder housing.

10. Rotate the cylinder 45° and remove it from the bulkhead.

11. Install the master cylinder and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.

12. Add fluid to the clutch release hydraulic master cylinder reservoir and bleed the air from the hydraulic actuator.
