Hyundai Creta wheel replacement
1. If possible, install the car on a flat horizontal platform.
Note:
If you have passengers, they should be dropped off.
2. Press the hazard switch.
3. Remove the Hyundai Creta spare tire and tool kit. They are located in a niche under the trunk floor upholstery.
4. Lock the vehicle with the parking brake.
5. Install chocks on both sides under the wheel located diagonally from the one being replaced.
6. Use a 21mm box or socket wrench to loosen all wheel nuts approximately one-half turn.
7. Install a jack at a specially designed place. The lower support platform of the jack must be exactly under the upper stop.
8. Gently raise the vehicle until the wheel to be changed is 2-3 cm from the ground.
Note:
If the wheel on the Hyundai is removed for repair work, additionally install a stand under the body and lower the car on it.
9. Completely unscrew the nuts.
10. Remove the wheel.
11. Clean the surface of the hub.
12. Install the spare wheel on the Hyundai Creta and secure with nuts.
13. While holding the wheel from rotation, tighten the nuts of its fastening in the sequence shown in the photo.
14. Gently lower the car until its wheel touches the ground. Finally tighten the wheel nuts in the same way to 108-127 N•m. First with a torque wrench, and then with a conventional wrench with a lever.
Reminder:
When using the spare wheel, do not exceed the speed limit of 80 km/h!
15. Put the jack and tool kit back in place.
16. Check the wheel tire pressure. If necessary, bring it up to standard.
