Kia Cee'd low beam bulb replacement

Note:

Before changing the low beam lamp to the Kia Sid, it is advisable  to disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery with a 10 mm  wrench.

Do not touch the lamp bulb with your fingers. Since the lamp gets very hot, greasy stains will cause the bulb to darken.

Do not install light bulbs of higher power than indicated in the instructions.

Replacing the low beam lamp Kia Sid

1.  Open the hood cover and fix it with a stop.

2. Turn off counterclockwise and remove a cover of a lamp of a low beam.

3. This will open access to the lamp itself. There is an arrow on the lamp block LOCK indicating which way the lamp is unscrewed. 

4. Unscrew the bulb counterclockwise and pull it out of the headlight housing.

5. Pull towards you and pull out the light bulb from the retainer block.

6. Replace the Kia Sid low beam lamp with a working one.

7. Install the bulb back into the socket. Make sure the protrusion matches.

8. Install the bulb back into the headlight and screw in clockwise.

9. Put on the cover. It is installed with the tongue down.

10. Screw it in clockwise.

11. Check the operation of the Kia Sid low beam lamp.
