Hyundai Creta rear wiper motor replacement

Note:

Before removing the wiper motor on the Hyundai Creta, you will first need to remove the lever and tailgate trim.

The need to remove, replace the rear arm or gearmotor is determined during the diagnosis of faults in the wiper.

Hyundai Creta rear wiper motor replacement

1. Place the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the ignition.

2. Remove a protective cap of a nut of fastening of the screen wiper lever.

3. Use a 10 mm socket or wrench to remove the nut.

4. Remove the lever with the brush from the Hyundai Crete rear wiper motor shaft.

Note:

With strong souring, you can use a special puller.

5. Raise the trunk lid.

6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 2 screws securing the casing from below.

7. Gently pry with a flat screwdriver, remove from the latches and remove the two trim strips.

8. Starting from the edge, slowly pull towards you, remove the fasteners from the fasteners and remove the Hyundai Creta tailgate trim. This will give you access to the motor.

9. Press the latch and disconnect the block of wires from the motor.

10. Check up a condition of conclusions of a block of wires. If oxides are found, treat them with a special agent for cleaning and protecting electrical contacts.

11. Using a 10 mm head, remove the 3 mounting bolts.

12. Remove the shaft from the door hole and remove the Hyundai Creta wiper motor assembly.

13. Replace the motor with a new one.

Note:

Hyundai/Kia rear wiper motor - 98700C9000.

14. Install the Hyundai rear wiper motor in reverse order.

15. Examine holders on a covering. Replace broken ones with new ones.

16. Reinstall tailgate trim.

17. Install the wiper arm on the shaft in a horizontal position.

18. Turn on the ignition and check the operation of the rear screen wiper.
