Tool:
- Tubular socket wrench
- gas key
- Jack
Parts and consumables:
- Springs Eibach Pro Kit -30
Note:
It was decided to remove the racks along with the steering knuckles (there was no 12-faceted head for a bolt). We started from the left pillar, removed everything, but the steering tip didn’t want to go into any (as a result, carefully putting the rack on the floor, they dismantled it right like that).
1. Front. We unscrew the CV joint nut.
2. Unscrew the bolt on the steering knuckle, the ball from below (3 nuts), and the stabilizer link.
Note:
The drive just passes between the subframe and the engine sump. As a result, the rack from the steering knuckle quietly comes out, and there is still a margin!
3. We change the spring, and assemble everything in the reverse order.
Note:
The bolt (which is on the steering knuckle) held the sprocket in place with a gas wrench, and everything was fine .
4. Now the back. We unscrew the lower bolts of the shock absorbers.
5. We raise the entire rear part on the jack, the springs are easily pulled out.
6. Cut off the bumpers and shock absorbers take their place.
