Note:
According to routine maintenance, the replacement of the cabin filter with a Nissan Note is carried out after 30 thousand kilometers or every 2 years (whichever comes first).
Even if the quality of the filter element itself is high enough, particles of debris and dust will inevitably penetrate the combustion chamber and reduce the ignition efficiency.
For easier access to the filter, you will need to remove the glove box.
Removing the glove box on a Nissan Note
1. Press the lock handle and open the glove box.
2. Remove the damper rod from the axle.
3. Press the glove box lid opening stops and remove them from the housing.
4. Remove the glove box cover.
5. Turn out 5 screws of fastening of the ware box case to the panel of devices.
6. Remove the case of a ware box.
Replacing the cabin filter Nissan Note
The cabin filter is located behind the console, under the instrument panel on the passenger side.
1. Press the latch at the bottom of the filter element housing, and pull the Nissan Note cabin filter towards you.
2. Pull the used filter element out of the housing.
3. Remove all debris from the Nissan Note cabin filter housing and, if possible, wipe its inside.
4. Replace the Nissan Note cabin filter with a new one.
5. Insert the top of the new filter into the housing first, then the bottom, and push it until the top fits into the groove.
Note:
Install a new Nissan Note cabin filter with the utmost care to avoid damaging it.
6. Reinstall the glove box.
