Note:

Where is the cabin filter installed on the Skoda Octavia
The air intake filter is located behind the glove compartment, on the passenger side.
Replacing the cabin filter Skoda Octavia
1. Open the glove box and remove all contents from it.
2. With a mounting spatula or a flat screwdriver, pry the latch (limiter) for opening the glove box up.
3. Unlatch the stopper.
4. Pull towards you and remove the glove compartment.
Note:
Removed glove compartment opening mechanism.
5. Next, you will need to remove the cabin filter cover. It opens by depressing the top 3 latches.
6. Release the top latches, pull towards you and remove the cover.
7. This will open access to the Skoda Octavia cabin filter.
8. Pull towards you and pull out the used filter.
9. Replace the Skoda Octavia cabin filter with a new one.
10 . Reinstall the filter in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
Arrows are marked on the side surface of the filter. When installing the element, their direction must match the direction of air movement in the system.
11. Replace the glove compartment. Insert the upper parts first, then the lower ones, and finally the removed closing mechanism.
