Hyundai Santa Fe CM front door glass replacement

Tools:

• Small flat screwdriver
• Phillips screwdriver, medium
• Set of plastic mounting spatulas
• Ratchet wrench
• socket head 10 mm

Parts and consumables:

• Front left door glass (82411-2B000)
• Front right door glass (82421-2B000)

Note:

This article shows how to replace the front door glass of a Hyundai Santa Fe.

1. Disconnect the "minus" terminal from the battery.

2. Open the Hyundai Santa Fe front door and  remove the front door upholstery as described in this article .

3. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the two plugs in the door mounting plate.

4. Temporarily connect the battery, connect the power window control unit. When operating the power windows, install the glass so that the glass holder bolts are accessible in the opening of the inner door panel and unscrew the bolts.

5. Remove the glass from the door.

6. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
