Replacing spark plugs on Skoda Rapid

Tool:

• Candle key for 16
• Screwdriver flat medium

• DENSO Iridium Tough Plugs with Iridium Electrode

Note:

The safety of a gasoline engine depends on how often the spark plugs are changed. Electrodes that perform their functions properly should not be covered with plaque, apply an electric discharge with sufficient voltage. If the circuit does not work correctly, and the reason for this can be both pollution and failure, the part must be replaced.

1. Let's start by unscrewing the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the plastic cover from the cylinder block. There are 4 spark plugs with ignition coils.

3. We take out the coils by prying them with a flat screwdriver.

4. We take out the coils and disconnect the wires. To do this, click on the latch located on the block. Disconnect and set aside the ignition coil.

6. After that, we take a candle key for 16 and unscrew the candles.

7. We replace the Skoda Rapid spark plugs with new ones and screw them into place.

8. Then we put the ignition coils in place, connect the pads with wires to them, put the candle cover in place and connect the battery back.

9. We start our Rapid and look at the warning lights of the panel - everything should work as before.
