Replacing the fuel filter on Skoda Rapid

Note:

The remote fuel filter is located to the right of the tank. The replacement interval is every 60,000 km. When it is removed, servicemen do not bleed the pressure in the fuel system. It does not affect the amount of spilled gasoline. There is an installation direction arrow on the filter, but even without it it is impossible to put it wrong. On the body it is fixed with a plastic clamp.

1. The fuel lines are secured to the filter with quick-release clamps.

2. To remove them, press the tabs.

3. The connections get clogged with dirt quickly, so wiggle them from side to side first to avoid breaking them.

4. Install a new fuel filter.
